Draft — requires legal review

Last updated September 28, 2026

This is a draft terms of service for the Stan application, prepared for review and not yet reviewed or approved by counsel. No entity is named as the operator of Stan pending that review; this draft describes the product’s intended rules, not a binding legal agreement.

1. What Stan is

Stan is a non-custodial interface to smart contracts on Robinhood Chain that let anyone launch an independent coin referencing a public social profile. Every coin is created and traded on pons, an independent launchpad: Stan is not affiliated with pons and does not speak for it. Stan does not custody user funds, does not guarantee any coin’s value, and does not vet coins beyond the moderation described in Section 4.

2. Creator involvement

Anyone may launch a coin referencing any public social profile without that person’s involvement or consent. A coin remains "community-created" unless its referenced creator has separately, explicitly endorsed that specific coin. Authenticating an account and claiming accrued fees is not endorsement.

3. No investment advice, no guaranteed value

Nothing on Stan is investment, financial, legal or tax advice. Coins launched through Stan carry no promised return, dividend, revenue share, or redemption right. Prices are set entirely by a public pons bonding curve and, after graduation, by the coin's pons pool, and can go to zero. See the Risk disclosures.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Stan to:

  • Impersonate a person or entity in a way intended to deceive, or misrepresent endorsement/affiliation.
  • Violate a third party’s intellectual property, publicity, or privacy rights.
  • Circumvent rate limits, abuse verification/moderation systems, or interfere with the service.
  • Use Stan for money laundering, sanctions evasion, or other unlawful activity.

Violations may result in a coin being flagged or hidden from discovery surfaces and a report being made to relevant platforms, without necessarily removing on-chain data, which Stan cannot alter.

5. Fees and costs

Every trade of a coin pays pons’ own 1% fee, wherever it happens. Trades made in Stan add a 2% Stan fee on top. On a creator coin that is 1% to Stan and 1% to the creator’s profile; on a custom AI agent coin, 1% to Stan and 1% to the coin’s fee recipients; on an AI agent coin run by Stan, 2% to Stan. The rates are fixed on-chain per coin when it is launched and disclosed in each coin’s fee panel before you trade. Launching also costs pons’ network fee (currently 0.0005 ETH, paid to pons) and, for AI agent coins, a 0.001 ETH Stan deploy fee. The launch screen shows the exact total before you sign.

Trades outside Stan

Trades made on pons or through an aggregator do not pass through Stan and pay only pons’ 1% fee. Stan’s 2% (and therefore any creator fee) applies only to trades made in Stan.

The coin cannot be changed after launch

A coin’s name, ticker, image, description, coin type and fee recipients are saved on-chain at launch and cannot be changed afterwards.

pons dependency

Because Stan builds on pons, a change, outage, closure or defect on pons (including its unaudited contracts, its launch gate, its fees, and its owners’ ability to propose moving a coin’s pons fee) can affect coins on Stan. Stan makes no promise that pons will keep operating or keep its current terms.

Unclaimed creator fees

Creator fees that a creator has never claimed (no wallet has ever been bound to that creator’s account) can be swept by Stan to the Stan platform treasury at any time, without notice. Balances of creators who have bound a wallet are never swept, and fees accruing after a sweep remain claimable by the creator. Every sweep is recorded on-chain and listed on the Transparency page. Claim early.

6. Wallets and custody

You are solely responsible for your wallet, private keys and seed phrases. Stan never asks for a seed phrase and never holds your trading keys. Transactions you sign are irreversible once confirmed on-chain.

7. No warranty; limitation of liability

Stan is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted, Stan and its contributors are not liable for losses arising from smart contract risk, market volatility, third-party platform changes, or your own use of the service.

8. Changes

This draft may change before or after a public launch as legal review, jurisdictional requirements, and provider policies are finalized. Material changes will be reflected with an updated date above.
